Centrino vs AMD64 vs Mobile Pentium 4:

The Pentium M (centrino) wins in all points. Those things are awesome - I run one in my desktop (DFI 855GME) - 1 second off the world record SuperPi Time clocked at 2.78GHz with mushy black 3500s.

Fastest - pM, a64, p4 (the 3.06 is a superceeded model)

Noise - pM can run passive on a tiny chipset cooler, a64 and that p4 can run off a basic allumium hs with a quiet fan

Battery life - relates to power usage:
pM banias 5W idle, 22W load
pM dothan 3W idle, 17W load

a64 roughly 27W idle, 50W load (not sure)

p4 around 30W idle 65W load (again not sure)

temperature, heat is directly proportional to power usage - see above; higher watts=higher temps
