Computing.Net - VMware 5 on Ubuntu 5.10: " Either recompile your kernel (which is something you should do at some point anyway) or check to see if you have gcc v3.4.5 installed. If so you can export the CC variable with something like:
# export CC='/usr/bin/gcc-3.4.5'
Then try running vmware-config.pl again as root.
